Victoria Parker, flute
Originally from Bloomsburg, Victoria received her Bachelor's Degree from Temple University in music education with a concentration in flute, and her Master's Degree from Drexel University in arts administration. Additionally, she earned a certification in Music Learning Theory while studying at Michigan State University.
Victoria has studied flute with prominent flutists and educators including Nancy Sanderson, Adeline Tomasone, Charlotte Day, Susan Palma Nidel, and the greatly missed local legend Ralph Wolfgang.
Having attended District, Region, and All-State PMEA festivals herself, as well as the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts, Victoria's students regularly win seats at PMEA festivals.
Michael Parker, brass
Michael Parker teaches trombone, euphonium, and tuba at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and Marywood University. Michael is in high demand as a soloist and clinician and is currently a tuba artist for Wessex Tuba. Most recently Michael was featured as a soloist and clinician at the 2017 Northwest Regional Conference for the International Tuba and Euphonium Association held at Washington State University and at the 2017 International Women’s Brass Conference held at Rowan University. As a soloist Parker has extensively presented programs on recital series in the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan region including such venues as the Strathmore Mansion, the Martin Luther King Jr Public Library, and the United States Department of State. As a member of the Monumental Brass Quintet for over fifteen years Michael was on the artist rosters for Summit Records, Washington Performing Arts Society, Young Audiences of Virginia, Class Acts Arts, and Living Arts Pennsylvania. Michael is an advocate for new music and has commissioned, performed, and recorded several works and arrangements for both JAM- Joanna and Michael and the Monumental Brass Quintet. Michael has with such groups as the Washington National Opera, Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass, Fairfax Symphony, Lyric Brass, and the Missouri Brass Consortium.
Michael received a BMus in Tuba from Northwestern University under the tutelage of Rex Martin and pursued graduate studies at the University of Missouri- Columbia where he studied tuba with Dr. David Kutz and musicology with Dr. Michael J. Budds. Michael Parker is the founder and primary operator for Parker Mouthpieces currently producing mouthpieces for trombone, euphonium, French horn, and tuba.
Amy Rynhart, woodwinds/brass/piano
Amy went to school for Music Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and then achieved her Masters degrees in Special Education and Early Childhood Education at Bloomsburg University. She taught at Berwick Middle School as the Band Director from 2013-2017, before resigning to stay at home after the birth of her first daughter. Amy enjoys staying at home with her two daughters, Kerry and Cassidy, and also helps run the family business, Rynhart Music. She has also been on the marching band staff of the Central Columbia High School Marching Band as a marching and music technician since 2018. Amy also toured the country for two summers as a brass player with Drum Corps International, with the Glassmen and Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. Amy enjoys teaching ALL the instruments, whether it be brass, woodwinds, or piano!

Savannah Ball, voice & beginner piano
Savannah is new to this area- her husband is an administrative fellow at Geisinger and they moved to Danville in the summer of 2021. She has two young sons. Though music was not her major, Savannah has much experience participating in choirs and studying voice and piano in college at Brigham Young University. Her kind nature and knowledge is perfect for children beginning their music studies. Savannah has passed all of our clearance requirements and is very excited to join our staff!
